STRAWBERRY ROCKS

STRAWBERRY ROCKS
Collect some strawberry shaped stones.(Oval rocks with a pointed end) Wash well with soap and water and let dry overnight.
Paint them white so the red will stay better. Let the white dry thoroughly.

Paint them any shade of red after they are dried. (Use acrylic paint).
On the pointed end, use med green to paint the hull. only come down about 1/4 of the way so your strawberry will still be seen.
paint leaves shape and then a few lines for veins in the leaf.
With a very small brush,(Or a toothpick with cotton swirled on the end) put little black seed specks over the red part. (Very small specks or it will look like watermelon seeds).

Take a little white paint and on the little spots of black paint, dab some white to finish the seed.
Lay on an open screen and spray varnish. Using a brush sometimes sticks...

Let dry thoroughly and display in baskets, gifts or outside to fool the birds...just sprinkle on the ground.
