Homemade Dishwasher Detergent Cubes
Ingredients:
1 Cup Borax
1 Cup Washing Soda
1/4 Cup Epsom Salt
Lemon Juice
Mix all the powders together. Mix them well to evenly spread through all the cubes.
Put a cup of the powder mixture into a separate bowl and then add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix well and then add to ice cube trays.
Let it sit over night and then pop the cubes out of the trays.

While the original investment may be somewhat more than a small box of detergent might cost, over time this could ultimately save the average consumer money and valuable resources.
