A collection of all the stuff I am bombarded with every day on Facebook and email and Twitter and so forth. Almost all of it is stuff that was sent to me and I did not request. I don't know where most of it came from other than the person that dropped it on me.

Butter Sponge Cake
Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
5 Eggs
1 1/8 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Cold Water
1 Tsp Grated Lemon Rind
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/3 Cup Melted Butter
Preparation:
Sift flour with baking powder. Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar gradually, beating until smooth. Beat egg yolks until thick and light colored; fold into egg whites. Add water, lemon rind and lemon juice. Fold in flour mixture. Add (cooled) butter. Bake at 325 degrees in slightly greased bundt pan for 45-55 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, invert and cool on wire rack.
Lemon Glaze
Ingredients:
1 Cup sifted powdered sugar
3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 Tsp Vanilla
Preparation:
Combine ingredients until icing is smooth and drizzling consistency.
Drizzle Lemon Glaze over Sponge Cake.
