Cup Cakes in a Jar

Turn a regular cup cake into a one of a kind desert. Make your cup cakes, store bought or homemade, Get your self some empty mason jars. Once the cup cakes are cool, remove from tin, slice sideways in three separate pieces. Note: Use a shark knife, you can freeze the cakes for awhile as to avoid crumbs. Place the bottom piece in the jar, then spread a layer of your favorite fruit, jelly, etc, then a dollop of whipped cream, then on top of that place the second piece and repeat the same method, until you have used all three sections of the cupcake. On the top pile on the whipped cream, and use a little of the filling, fruit etc as a garnish to add color.
