Full of Dirty Dishes

This one of those virtual postcards with an attempt at a  witty phrase on it.  This one says, "I can't do the dishes because the sink is too full of dirty dishes"

The background of this card is a light blue with a hint of grey.  There is a drawing of a woman slumped to the side of a striped chair.  She is burying her head in the arm of the chair and in her arms in exhaustion or perhaps disgrace.  She is wearing a long black dress with white dots on it.  The style of the chair and her dress remind me of the 1940s.

I have often been there myself, having the dishes pile up to the point of having to unbury the sink before being able to wash the dishes.
